American Farewell Tour

After almost two-and-a-half years in America we recently decided that enough was enough. But, before calling full time on the experience we've also decided to embark on one final farewell tour of the nation.

So, starting in June we will hit the road in our (hopefully) reliable Volvo to visit some friends, see the country and bid farewell to the great nation of America (and Canada).

If everything goes according to plan — and when does that ever happen? — we'll spend a number of months traveling up to the northeast, across to the northwest, down to the southwest and back over to the southeast again. If things don't go according to plan (i.e. if the car breaks down or we run out of money), it could all be over in a matter of weeks at which point we'll make our way to the nearest airport and then home again.

Either way it works out here are two ways you can help us.

First, if you're in America (or Canada) and have a spare room and the gift of hospitality — or know some folks who do — why not hook us up and help us save some money?

Second, pray for us. For safety, on the roads especially, and for our car — that she'll make the distance and not leave us stranded in the middle of Arizona.
