Atlanta, GA

The second stop on our road trip was Atlanta.
Formerly known as Terminus, Marthasville and my personal favourite, Thrasherville, but more commonly known as Hotlanta, due to it's unbearably hot and humid summers, we came here to visit old friends, kick off our journey proper and catch some sightseeing as well.
Among the tourist delights on offer were: The King Center, birthplace, monument etc. of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr; Stone Mountain, Georgia's answer to Ayer's Rock and the birthplace of both Kenneth Parcell and the Ku Klux Klan; and of course Atlanta's number one tourist attraction, the always clogged I-85, where we spent quite a bit of time.
Next stop, the Blue Ridge Mountains!
P.S. My camera broke. Broken car, broken camera … what next?!
